Playing corrie newcomer Aggie Bailey is British actress Lorna Laidlaw.
The 56-year-old actress is originally from Birmingham but has made the move north to begin filming Coronation Street in Manchester.
Lorna will begin playing Aggie Bailey on ITV soap in June 2019.
Lorna Laidlaw will join the Coronation Street cast as Pharmacy assistant Aggie Bailey.
Aggie moves to Weatherfield to start a new chapter with her husband Edison, and two sons, Michael and James.
Although her storyline on the show is not yet clear, Aggie is described as ‘friendly, fun and outrageous’ and is set to bring lots of energy to the cobbles.

Lorna is most famous for her role on BBC soap Doctors, where she played receptionist Mrs.Tembe.
The role even got her nominated for Best Dramatic Performance at the 2015 British Soap Awards!
Aside from her long-running role on Doctors, Lorna has also appeared on children’s TV show like Tikibilla and Grandpa in My Pocket.
